Installation recommendations

Fit it so the strainer sits clear of the well floor — drawing off the bottom pulls silt straight into the pump. Make the threaded joint up cleanly with tape and a wrench on both parts. Check the jali each season and clear it: a partly blocked strainer starves the pump and shows up as poor delivery long before anybody thinks to look down the well.

Before you buy

How far above the floor should it sit?

High enough that the pump is not drawing settled silt, and low enough to stay well submerged at the lowest water level you expect. If the well silts up over the season, plan to raise it rather than let the strainer sit in the deposit.

Delivery has fallen off but the pump sounds normal.

Check the strainer before anything else. A jali choked with leaf litter is the commonest cause, and it is the easiest thing to rule out.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
