This heavy-duty connector is ideal for high-pressure applications and long joint connections.
Key features
- Deep Steps
- Strong Grip
- Easy fitting
- Durable
- Rust free
Where it's used
- HDPE mainline to pump delivery transitions
- Connecting HDPE to valves, filters and headworks
- Repairing a failed transition joint on an existing line
Benefits
- Joins HDPE pipe to a threaded steel line without the joint becoming the weak point
- Stainless body will not rust into the HDPE or into the mating thread
- CNC thread makes up square and stays serviceable
- Suits the buried and permanently damp positions where these transitions usually sit
Installation recommendations
Cut the HDPE square and de-burr it; an angled or ragged cut is what leaks afterwards. Assemble the compression parts in order — nut, then grip ring, then seal — and push the pipe fully home to the stop before tightening. Tighten firmly by hand and then check under pressure rather than over-tightening dry. On the threaded side, tape and make up with a wrench on both parts.

Before you buy
Does the HDPE side need a clamp as well?
No. The compression assembly grips the pipe on its own, provided the pipe is pushed fully home and the parts went on in the right order. A clamp added over the top hides a joint that was not made properly.
It weeps at the HDPE side under pressure.
Usually the pipe was not pushed fully to the stop, or the cut was not square. Depressurise, dismantle, re-cut square and reassemble — tightening harder on a badly seated pipe will not fix it.
Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?
Every price on this site is MRP, inclusive of tax. It is the same for everyone — there is no separate dealer login or hidden rate. For bulk quantities, send a bulk enquiry and we will quote on volume.
Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?
Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.
Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?
No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
