Installation recommendations

Clean the threads, tape or seal in the tightening direction, and make the joint with a wrench on both parts. Do not over-tighten stainless into stainless — the threads gall if forced, and a galled joint cannot be undone without cutting. Support the pipework so the bend is not carrying a cantilever load.

Before you buy

Is stainless worth it over mild steel?

On anything permanently wet, yes. Mild steel fittings rust into their joints and the next service means cutting them out. Stainless comes apart again years later, which is usually where the saving actually shows.

The threads have jammed halfway. What now?

That is galling — stainless on stainless, forced dry. Back it off before it seizes fully, clean both threads, and remake with tape or an anti-seize compound rather than more force.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.

Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?

No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
