Installation recommendations

Fit a clean washer onto a clean face and tighten firmly by hand plus a light turn — a threaded joint on a nylon washer does not need a wrench heaved on it, and over-tightening extrudes the washer and causes the very leak it was meant to stop. Replace rather than reuse when a joint is broken for service.

Before you buy

The joint still weeps after tightening.

Stop tightening. An over-compressed washer extrudes and seals worse, not better. Back it off, check the sealing face for grit or damage, fit a fresh washer and tighten moderately.

Why is GST only 5% on this?

Micro-irrigation equipment is taxed at 5% GST. General pipe fittings are 18%, so an order that mixes the two shows both rates on the invoice. The price you see already contains the tax.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?

No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
