Installation recommendations

Line the two pipe ends up square before latching — a clamp closed on a misaligned joint will hold at rest and blow apart under pressure. Check the gasket is seated and undamaged; a perished gasket is the usual cause of a joint that weeps. Charge the line gradually and walk it once to check every coupling before leaving it running.

Before you buy

A coupling blew apart under pressure.

Almost always misalignment or a worn gasket, not the clamp. Re-seat the joint square, replace the gasket, and bring pressure up gradually rather than opening the valve fully at once.

What is the difference from the spring version?

The spring version holds the latch closed positively, which helps where the line is dragged or where couplings work loose through the shift. The plain latch is simpler and lighter.

Why is GST only 5% on this?

Micro-irrigation equipment is taxed at 5% GST. General pipe fittings are 18%, so an order that mixes the two shows both rates on the invoice. The price you see already contains the tax.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Every price on this site is MRP, inclusive of tax. It is the same for everyone — there is no separate dealer login or hidden rate. For bulk quantities, send a bulk enquiry and we will quote on volume.

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.

Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?

No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
