Installation recommendations

Choose the length before you build the joint — a nipple that is nearly right and then packed out with couplings is a joint with three more places to leak. Clean and tape the threads, make up with wrenches on both parts, and avoid forcing stainless dry. Support long nipples so they are not carrying a bending load from the pipework beyond.

Which length should I choose?

Measure the gap you actually need to close, then pick the nipple that fills it in one piece. The whole point of the longer barrel is to avoid stacking couplings to make up the distance.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.

Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?

No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
