About this product
ball type socketed CI NRV is a high-quality non return valve designed for secure and leak-proof water flow in irrigation and agricultural pipe line.this is ideal for efficient water flow management and professional-grade installations.it ensure secure waterflow and cost-effective solution for all your piping connection needs.
Key features
- Made from premium-grade material
- heavy duty material
- long-lasting performance
- corrosion resistance
- secure water flow
Where it's used
- Smaller submersible and openwell pump lines
- Delivery runs where a flanged valve would be needlessly heavy
- Replacing a failed check valve without cutting flanges into the line
Benefits
- Ball-type check valve that seats by its own weight and the returning column, so there is no spring to weaken
- Socketed ends thread straight onto standard pipe — no flanges, no gaskets, fewer parts to leak
- Keeps the delivery line primed between runs, so the pump is not started against an empty column
- Cast iron body absorbs the shock of closing without cracking
- Simple enough to open, clean and refit in the field
Installation recommendations
Check the flow direction before threading it in — reversed, it stops the line dead. Clean the threads, tape or seal them, and make the joint with a wrench on the valve body rather than on the adjoining pipe. Keep the valve accessible; a check valve buried behind other pipework is one nobody will ever service. If it starts passing water back, unthread it and check the ball and seat for grit before condemning it.

Before you buy
How do I know the valve has failed?
The line drains back after the pump stops and the next start is noisy and slow to deliver. Usually it is grit on the seat rather than a failed body — worth opening and cleaning before replacing.
Does it need servicing?
Only when symptoms appear. There is no spring or diaphragm to perish; the ball and the seat are the whole mechanism, and grit is what stops them sealing.
Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?
Every price on this site is MRP, inclusive of tax. It is the same for everyone — there is no separate dealer login or hidden rate. For bulk quantities, send a bulk enquiry and we will quote on volume.
Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?
Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.
Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?
No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
