About this product

poly Drip fitting is a durable made from high-quality virgin polyethylene, it ensures strong, leak-proof connections and long-lasting performance.Drip poly fittings provides a quick, reliable, and maintenance-free solution for extending, connectiong or closing both type lateral drip irrigation pipe.

Key features

  • high grade material
  • easy to use

Where it's used

  • Bringing each drip lateral off the submain
  • Adding a row to an existing drip block
  • Replacing a leaking or perished take-off point

Benefits

  • Connects a 16 mm lateral to the submain through a grommet, instead of cutting and joinering the submain wall
  • Take-off and grommet make a joint that can be closed later with a plug if the row is dropped
  • Virgin material resists the UV and the constant slight movement at the submain
  • Fits by hand with a punch and a little water as lubricant

Installation recommendations

Punch the submain with the correct grommet punch — a nail or a screwdriver makes a hole that never seals. Wet the grommet and seat it fully into the hole, then push the take-off through it. Charge the submain and check the seat before connecting the lateral. A take-off that weeps at the grommet is nearly always a hole punched oversize or off-round.

From the knowledge centre

Drip or sprinkler: which one suits your crop?

Both save water, but they suit different crops, soils and budgets. A plain comparison to help you pick before you spend.

Before you buy

The take-off leaks around the grommet. What went wrong?

The hole is oversize or torn — usually punched with the wrong tool or in cold, stiff pipe. Move along the submain and punch a fresh hole, then plug the old one.

Can a take-off be closed if I drop that row?

Yes. Pull the take-off and fit a plug into the same grommet, or replace the grommet with a blanking plug. There is no need to patch the submain.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Every price on this site is MRP, inclusive of tax. It is the same for everyone — there is no separate dealer login or hidden rate. For bulk quantities, send a bulk enquiry and we will quote on volume.

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.

Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?

No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
