Installation recommendations

Cut the damaged section out square — a slanted cut never seats. Warm the pipe ends in the sun or in warm water if they are stiff, then push each end fully onto the barb until it meets the centre stop. Charge the line and check the joint before walking away; a joiner that is only half-seated holds at rest and lets go under pressure.

Before you buy

Does the joint need a clamp?

No. The barb and the pipe's own elasticity hold it at drip working pressures. A clamp is only worth adding where the lateral is under mechanical strain, such as at a crossing.

Will it fit any 16 mm lateral?

It fits standard 16 mm drip lateral, inline or online. Flat drip tape needs tape fittings instead — the barb will tear a thin-wall tape.

Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Every price on this site is MRP, inclusive of tax. It is the same for everyone — there is no separate dealer login or hidden rate. For bulk quantities, send a bulk enquiry and we will quote on volume.

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?

Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.

Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?

No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
