Installation recommendations
Cut the pipe square and de-burr it, then dry-fit to check the depth of engagement. Clean both surfaces — dust and moisture are what cause a joint to fail later. Apply an even coat inside the socket and outside the spigot, push fully home with a quarter turn to spread the cement, and hold it for a few seconds; PVC will push a joint back out as it relaxes. Wipe the excess. Leave it to cure before pressurising — an hour is not curing, and the joint that fails is nearly always the one that was tested too early. Keep the tin closed between joints and work in ventilated air.

Before you buy
How long before I can turn the water on?
Give it a full cure rather than a set. It handles firm within minutes, but pressurising a joint the same hour is the single commonest cause of a leak that appears a week later. Plan to leave a new line overnight where you can.
The tin has thickened. Can I thin it?
No. Thinned cement does not weld properly and the joint will look right and fail under pressure. Solvent cement thickens because the tin has been left open; buy the size you will actually use and keep it closed.
Which size tin should I buy?
The small tins are for repairs and a handful of joints; the 500 ml and 1000 ml sizes are for laying a line. Buying larger than the job wastes more through thickening than it saves on price.
Are your prices MRP or dealer rate?

Why is GST 5% on some products and 18% on others?
Micro-irrigation equipment — drip and sprinkler systems — attracts 5% GST under Indian tax rules. General plastic pipe and fittings attract 18%. The rate that applies is shown on each product page rather than assumed.
Do I have to buy a whole box of small fittings?
No. Small drip fittings such as joiners and end caps arrive boxed — 100 to a bag, for instance — but you order in pieces and can buy a single one. The box quantity and its price are shown alongside the per-piece MRP so you can see both, and any product with a genuine minimum order states it on its page and on its data sheet.
