Why drip irrigation

Short cycles and frequent picking — drip waters the row without wetting the paths.

What actually changes the answer

  • Beds get replanted several times a year — laterals are lifted and relaid, so joiners and end caps are consumables. Order spares.
  • Close spacing means high pipe-per-acre. The estimator will show the real number before you commit.
  • Thin-wall tape is cheaper per metre and is a reasonable choice where the lateral is lifted every season anyway.

How much pipe would vegetables need?

Put in your acres and the estimator works it out against this crop’s row spacing, then prices the parts from our own catalogue at published MRP.

What you’d be buying

Spacings and water figures on this page are widely published agronomic ranges, not a design for your field. Soil, slope, water source and pump all move them. Send us your crop, acres and pump details and we’ll confirm the sizing before you commit.
